JobBoard: the construction companies edition, in your browser

One of twelve industry systems we build from, each with its own screens, workflow and vocabulary. JobBoard carries dispatch map, routes per technician and a phone view built for the van, plus the pipeline, inbox with SMS and email, quotes the customer accepts online, schedule, editable automation flows, reports and a phone view. Sample data in your browser only. Your build carries your own stages, fields and rules.

Who this is for

Built for construction companies

General contractors, builders and specialist construction firms bidding on 5 to 100 projects a year, who track bids in a spreadsheet, projects in another system and clients in email, and cannot see win rates or pipeline value.

Bid tracking with win rate by type

Every tender has a due date, an estimator and an outcome. Reports show win rate by client type, project size and estimator, so you stop bidding work you never win.

Client communication on the project record

Emails, meeting notes, approvals and photos live on the project. When a client asks what was agreed in March, the answer is on screen, not in someone's inbox.

Subcontractor compliance

Insurance and licence expiry dates with reminders, so no subcontractor is scheduled with lapsed cover. Performance notes follow them to the next bid.

Variations and progress claims

Variations are logged, priced and sent for client approval from the CRM. Progress claims and the final account are built from the contract value and approved variations.

Questions we get asked

What does a custom construction CRM cost?

A construction CRM with bid tracking, project pipeline, client communication, subcontractor records and variations is typically 11,900 to 17,900 US dollars fixed, delivered in six to nine weeks. A bid and enquiry tracker starts at 5,900. No per-user fees, so estimators, project managers and site staff all get logins.

Is this a project management tool?

It is the customer and commercial side: bids, clients, contracts, variations, claims and communication. For scheduling and site management many clients keep Procore or Buildertrend and we sync the project list. For smaller builders we add a simple programme and task board so one system does both.

Can it track variations and claims?

Yes. Variations are logged against the project with cost, price and client approval, and progress claims are built from the contract and approved variations. The final account report shows contract value, variations, claimed, paid and retention at any time. Retention release dates are tracked per project, so money owed at the end of defects periods is chased rather than forgotten.

Does it handle subcontractor insurance?

Each subcontractor record holds insurance, licence and safety documents with expiry dates. Reminders go out before expiry and the scheduling view flags any subcontractor with lapsed cover, which protects you on site and at audit. Subcontractors can upload renewed documents through a link, so the office is not chasing PDFs by email every quarter.
