Donors, grants, volunteers and programs in one record

GivingDesk: the nonprofits edition, in your browser
One of twelve industry systems we build from, each with its own screens, workflow and vocabulary. GivingDesk carries campaign meters, donor retention and appeal journeys, plus the pipeline, inbox with SMS and email, quotes the customer accepts online, schedule, editable automation flows, reports and a phone view. Sample data in your browser only. Your build carries your own stages, fields and rules.
Use Expand in the demo toolbar for a full screen view, press Escape to close it, or open the nonprofits demo on its own page.
Who this is for
Built for nonprofits
Nonprofits with 3 to 60 staff who have outgrown spreadsheets or are paying a per-record price for a donor database that still needs three other tools for volunteers, events and programs.
Donor management that shows the whole relationship
Gifts, pledges, recurring plans, event attendance, volunteer hours and every email or call on one record, with household and employer relationships, so a major gift officer prepares a visit in minutes.
Grant pipeline with deadlines that cannot be missed
Each grant carries its application, award, reporting deadlines and program. A calendar view shows every deadline for the year, and reminders go to the program lead 30 and 7 days ahead.
Receipts, acknowledgements and year end statements
Automatic thank you emails and tax receipts on each gift, printed letters for major donors, and annual giving statements generated in one batch in January.
Reports funders and boards actually ask for
Retention rate, average gift, donors by giving level, program outcomes by grant, volunteer hours by program, all as dashboards and exports.

Questions we get asked
How much does a nonprofit CRM cost to build?
A nonprofit CRM with donors, gifts, recurring giving, receipts, grants, volunteers and reporting is typically 9,900 to 15,900 US dollars fixed, delivered in six to eight weeks. A donor database with receipts and reports starts at 5,900. There are no per-user or per-record fees, so the price does not grow with your donor list.
Why not use a nonprofit CRM like Bloomerang or Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud?
For many organisations they are the right choice and we say so in discovery. Custom builds make sense when the annual cost has passed a few thousand dollars, when programs and volunteers do not fit the tool, or when the organisation wants to own its donor data rather than rent access to it.
Does it handle recurring donations?
Yes. Recurring plans are set up from your website form or by staff, charged through Stripe, PayPal or GoCardless, receipted automatically and shown on the donor record. Failed payments trigger a retry and a friendly email, and a report lists recurring donors whose card expires this quarter.
Can we import from our current database?
Yes. We migrate constituents, gift history, campaigns, funds, relationships and notes from your current system or spreadsheets, deduplicate households and match employers, and give you a reconciliation report showing every record and every dollar accounted for. The old system stays read only until you confirm the new one is complete, and an archive export of the source is kept for you regardless.
Is this CRM software for nonprofit organizations of any size?
It suits nonprofit organizations from a handful of staff to a few hundred. Small charities usually need donors, gifts, Gift Aid or tax receipts and consent. Larger ones add grants, events, volunteers, membership and the fundraising software features of a donor CRM. Because the build is priced once, adding staff or volunteers never raises the software bill, which matters on a nonprofit budget.
